I write TallySpins from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Long winters are good for patient work, and a slot log is patient work: 500 spins, one line each, no skipping the boring ones.

What I do here

  • Run the session. 500 paid spins at 1.00 in the provider's own free demo, same bet all the way, no bonus buy.
  • Write it down. Balance before and after each spin, which spins started a bonus, what the best win was and on which spin it came.
  • Check the provider. RTP and the lower versions casinos may run, volatility, maximum win, bet range. Each figure goes on the page with a link and the date I checked it.
  • Check the casinos. Whether the game is really in the lobby, and whether the casino's partner program is one we are willing to link. The rules are on how we test.

What I don't do

I don't call a slot "hot", "cold" or "due". I don't treat a demo session as a forecast: it shows how a game behaves, not what it will pay. I don't write that anything is legal in Canada without naming the province, and I don't use words like "guaranteed".

About the name and the picture

Kelsey Parsons is the pen name I publish under, and the portrait is an illustration, not a photo. I have no gaming licence or industry diploma, and I don't claim any. What I have is the log, and it is on every page.
